map the skype audio with processing

Hi all, does anyone know if is possible to map the skype's audio with processing?

Nothing too difficult, just to obtain a variable about generated by the volume.

I am sorry, but I don't see what you mean by "map the audio".
Perhaps you mean capturing the sound generated by Skype?
There are several threads in the forum about sound card capture.

For example: in want to connect processing to skype and, when somebody is talking, i want to have a variable who map to 0 to 100 the volume of his voice.

I have the same question. I already tried to make use of the StereoMix as input on Windows but that did not work. But maybe I messed it ;)
