What is a teroid? I google imaged it but the result don't make sence.

toroid, it's like a cylinder that's been bent around so that the top is attached to the bottom. but all I want is a shape that is basically two concentric circles. I really just want to be able to see through the circle in the middle.

That's an Annulus. Usually figures with holes are made by drawing the outer shape in a direction (eg. clockwise) then drawing the inner shape in the reverse direction (ie. counter-clockwise).
