Make Lite Softwares using Processing.org ??

Hey folks,

I am a noob to processing.org. Tried out some tutorials from the book Making things talk. I was wondering if Processing is powerful enough to make lite software applications like a serial terminal, lite weighted hardware configuration tools and similar stuffs.

Besides making such tools, is it legal to sell such tools? considering this is an open source initiative... Excited to know the extremes of this innovative language... ;)

it would say its definitely possible. have written some small applications and tools. might be that you have to deal with pure java for several system related features, but thats no problem as you can write pure java in processing.

and yes, there is no problem with selling your applications.
