I wrote a simple sketch that loads a .stp file, finds the datum points, and then outputs a .csv file. I exported the sketch for mac and windows and it works fine for me on my mac. I tried testing it at work on a few PCs and it also works. I made this for someone else and they told me they get a "Main Class not found error" when they open it (PC).
