Northeastern University in Boston seeks an adjunct professor to teach the class
Programming for Digital Media in Spring 2013.
Undergraduate introductory course teaching object-oriented programming concepts using Processing. The course is offered primarily to sophomore level design and digital art majors who have minimal coding experience.
Spring Semester runs from Jan 8, 2013 - Apr 17, 2013
The course is scheduled to meet: Tuesday 11:45 am - 1:25 pm Thursday 2:50 pm - 4:30 pm
But to accommodate instructor's and students' schedules, it can be rescheduled to meet once or twice a week in evenings for a total of 3.5 contact hours per week for the 14 week term. enrollment ~20 students.
Course description:
IM 2250 - Programming for Digital Media
Exposes students to basic programming design for user interfaces. Offers students an opportunity to become familiar with the logical elements of programming languages. Through lectures, hands-on in-class exercises, and modular projects, explores Web-based design and programming solutions for managing interaction and animation.
