Loading images on top of others

I am a newbie, so this question might be very basic...

Is it possible in Processing to load a background image in, say, an 800x800 window, and then load other images over the top of this image, with the centre of these other images being placed precisely at specific coordinates?

If so, could someone provide example code?

To answer your question, yes, you can precisely place an image pretty much however you like. If I understood correctly, you want to center images to the same place?

I'm going to demonstrate with "rect()" (this way I don't have to load images you don't have. You can place an image exactly the same way as "rect()").

int[] thingHeight = new int[numThings];

/* This won't be needed for you
I'm just doing it to give the rects() random sizes*/

I´d recommend to use "ImageMode(CENTER)" in setup(). After that, image(name,x,y) will put the pictures centered at the specified coordinates. I think it´s the simplest solution: http://processing.org/reference/imageMode_.html
