Hi,

I would like to manipulate (sharpen, contrast, brightness) a Pimage.

Is there a library for this? I found imageadjuster. But this seems to not work with PImage and it doesn't contain sharpening as effect.

Processing offers functions to convert from and to Image / BufferedImage.

So generic Java libraries can work. Like Jerry's Java Image Processing library. (The Processing here isn't our...)

Thanks a lot for the answer. The filters provided at the linked location look promissing.

I'll try to look at the convertion of the image in processing and than try the filters.

Processing already has some built-in functions that does exactly that. Besides that, you can use OpenCV.

I saw some filters. But they were things like blur, not sharpening or automatic white balance.

Did I miss something?

There was a sharpening mask in one of the examples. You can always use JavaCV (OpenCV port for Java). You only need to convert a PImage to IplImage, but I already have that functions coded if you're interested.

I've only tested in RGB images, but in one channel images it sould work fine.
