libraries folder problem on mac

i got a new library which was successfully used on my pc, but when i using my macbook, i can't even find the folder to save it, the libraries folder in the sketchbook was empty, i tried search my other libraries (eg. opengl,video...) to find the folder, but no search result at all... so i wonder where the libraries in mac??? does anyone could help??? thank you!

the libraries folder for mac users is by default here:

~/Documents/Processing/libraries

since you are mentioning you already found the libraries folder, although its empty, just drop your library in there, restart processing and you are set.

hi, thank you for reply..

i tried to put in that folder,and restart, but it didn't work...and with my PC, i can see all the other libraries in that folder, i'm also curious that i can't find them with mac, but still can load them in processing...

is there any other ways??

the libraries folder you are referring to is the core libraries folder and should actually not be touched or modified.

all contributed libraries or 3rd party libraries should go into the libraries folder inside your sketchbook. the way libraries are loaded and which folder structure is required is documented in the wiki, how to install a contributed library

though this issue might already be solved (6 month ago):

if you control-click the processing application's icon + choose "show packages content"

then you will get a list of all of processing's folders & contents

...
