I've updated my "LetterBaby" Android app including limited
Android text-to-speech sounds (US English) and many wintery images. I also released a "full" version where each of the 125 pictures plays TTS sounds. Here are the
appbrain listings. These were made with Processing. Please give them a try!! I would love to hear your feedback either here or comments in the
dev log.
Here is the description:

I
originally posted this in the Processing > Android Forum but I just noticed there is an Exhibition forum, so I thought I should copy it here as well. Thanks in advance to any Android users willing to try it. Enjoy!

I'm starting this discussion on an Android app I built with Processing and recently added to the Android Market. I submitted a free "beta" of an alphabet picture game for kids called LetterBaby. It currently has ~70 cartoon images designed for toddlers/young kids to scroll through (or click through with a DPAD/optical button), it also processes input from the keyboard.
Here is the listing on appbrain. I'd like to eventually add more pictures, different play modes, sounds, etc.
I originally designed it for the PC so my toddler could learn to associate letters, words and pictures, and because I wanted to promote using the keyboard/PC as a sort of toy. I've focused solely on developing it for Android ever since learning it was possible to run Processing apps on Android.
I would love any criticism or feedback from anyone willing to try it. Feel free to share pros/cons you observe while you and/or your child are using it. So far I'm considering adding a delay so the user can really learn the images (the pictures may not be on-screen long enough when clicking rapidly with the DPAD). I've confirmed it installs and runs on the Motorola Droid, HTC Incredible/Desire, N1 and Samsung Captivate; it does not (may not) run on the Samsung Moment.
If anyone has any insight as to why it may not work for the Samsung Moment, that would be helpful as well.
