Do you want to command something, to display something, to do something? I just don't see how this stuff can be used with Processing.

1. I have a LCD Screen compatible with Hitachi HD44780 driver.
2. When I click one button I want to show the information in the LCD.

Surely is more easy to connect processing with Arduino?
