KinectOrbit update problem with Processing 2.0

Hi everybody, I am having a trouble about any sketch that I write with KinectOrbit library.

I am using Processing 2.0b8, and it always gives the error below:

"The class kinectOrbit.KinectOrbit is incompatible with Processing 2.0.

A library (or other code) is using registerMouseEvent() which is no longer available.

Stopping the sketch because this code will not work correctly with OpenGL."

I could not find any usefull information when I search "updating kinectorbit ??"

Please help me..

This may not help at all, but have you tried an earlier version of processing? I have found that when I can't get something to work in 2.0 or above, it usually works in 1.5

With an earlier version of Processing, I could not create a 3D environment. It supports only JAVA 2D.

Okay. I haven't dealt with 2.0 or above yet. I'm using 1.5 with my Kinect with openNI and Nite libraries but I'm not familiar with the difference between 1.5 and 2.0 yet. I will keep an eye on this thread and maybe I can learn more myself.

ZenArtist i did it but 1.5 wont let me use SimpleOpenNI, it wont find the library. any other suggestion? or where did you install the SimpleOpenNI for 1.5?

i did it with 1.5.1 but it doesnt get the libraries from SimpleOpenNI, where did you install it? Thank for the anwsers.

Eu estava tentando usar a biblioteca "kinectOrbit" e descobrir que ela só funciona no Processing 2.0.2 se você declarar os objetos com o 'k' maiúsculo (K). Exemplo:

Forma errada, dessa forma você recebe um erro do tipo: 'Cannot find a class or type named "kinectOrbit".'

import kinectOrbit.*;
kinectOrbit myOrbit;
void setup(){
myOrbit = new kinectOrbit(this);
...

Forma certa, lembrar de declarar sempre com 'K' maiúsculo.

import kinectOrbit.*;
KinectOrbit myOrbit;
void setup(){
myOrbit = new KinectOrbit(this);
...
