Kinect Silhouette with Particles

Hey guys, fairly new here... Ive been working with Max MSP and jit.openni to get the kinect up and running. Now I want to do some things with processing so naturally I looked here. I want to have a particle system follow a users silhouette. Any ideas on where to start? Should I stay within Max? Any help would be great. Thanks guys.
