Keyboard Output

Hey everyone,

I want to simualte a keyboard with processing, instead of getting the pressed or released key.
For example I send a OSC-signal from one computer to many and all computer type an 'A'.
Is that possible or I have to use another programming language, if so please tell me witch one
you prefer.

Processing has one (or more?) OSC libraries, so, yes, it should be doable.

Yeah, I know.
OSC is not the point.
I want to simulate a pressed key on a keyboard.

For Example on all computers is a jump n run game and you can play it with one computer.
You type 'A' on computer 1 and computer 2...10 get an 'A' like 10 person press an 'A' on the keyboard.

Is your game a Processing game where you can add code? In this case, you can replace the keyboard handling by some OSC event handling.

You can use the java.awt.Robot class to send the keyPress events to the system. This class is intendet to implement Caputre/Replay testsuites in java. I have used it already to send mouseEvents from TUIO touch events to remote-control non-tuio applications on a multitouch system.
