inserting a single mp3 into processing using minim or sound cipher

Hello! I am quite new to Processing, so I'm sorry my question is so basic, but I cannot seem to find my answer.

I would like to have my user press play in the processing environment and then have an mp3 play. Could you please tell me how to do this using either the minim or sound cipher libraries?

Thanks so much! Any help is greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the examples that come with Processing? (File->Examples->Libraries->Minim)

Here's a slight modification on an minim example that plays a mp3 file with a mouse press. Hope this helps.

// load a file, give the AudioPlayer buffers that are 2048 samples long

player = minim.loadFile("YourMP3.mp3", 2048);

// always close Minim audio classes when you are done with them

player.close();

// always stop Minim before exiting

BTW...just in the interest of complete clarity:

"YourMP3.mp3" should be replaced by whatever the name of the mp3 file is that you want to play. Also be sure that the mp3 file is in a "data" folder inside your sketch folder.

I apologize if this is obvious to you... I'd just rather err on the side of detail and make no assumptions about anyone's experience level.
