Importing Data into a .xml file

hello, i'm new to processing and i'm currently working on a large project at the moment that requires data from processing's "println" section to be exported into an .xml file . is that possible?

Of course, it is possible, although you need to change the println() by something else.
Or not even, if you define something like:

static void println(String msg)
{
PApplet.println("This is an hijack! " + msg); // Of course, more significant code there!
}

you can output to a file.

but how would i use that if i have the program printing and storing points [ (x,y) ] of where i click the mouse?

Perhaps take a look at PrintWriter. Search examples in the forums.
