how to use the Cookies of the internet user in my video - like Arcade Fire's video

Hello,
I fall in love with Arcade Fire music video;
http://www.thewildernessdowntown.com/

In this video, you type a name of city.
Then, some pictures of this city will be extracted from Google Map, and used in this video.

Is it possible to do this, or they can only do this beacuse Aaron Koblin works for Google ?

Would it be possible to get the cookies of an internet user, and use them on my video ?
When i go on google, the ads always show stuff that I sometimes buy on Ebay or Amazon.
I would like to use the same technical to put those cookies into the vidéo. So the internet suddenly see the words that he types in google, or what he bought on Ebay..

Is it possible ?
Would you help me ?

Hi datas_x ...

yes, pictures based upon a google search term is possible... not too sure about cookies though.

I would suggest starting with Daniel Shiffman's Yahoo library to get an idea about what kind of code/functions you need to familiarize yourself with in order to do this.

I'm sure someone else will reply with a little bit more experience in doing this kind of project though...

By design, a site can only access its own cookies, not the cookies of other sites, for security reasons.

Thank you Jesse, i'm going to look at your link right now.

Phil, I understand.

In fact, the goal of my video is to show how much websites can collect information on the internet user.
So i would like to open pop-up with information on the internet user watching my video.

Example :

Phil ; you look at my video. And then a pop up opens and show what you usually buy on amazon or Ebay. And your profil facebook..

I know that it needs a lot of code, but it would be very interesting to make people understand the collect of informations.
