How to use extral Library in an eclipse project?

Hallo guys, I am new to processing. I find processing very interesting and try to use it in a java project. It works if I import the core.jar. But then I find some useful external library and want to use them in the project. How can I do it properly? Thanks.

Use Windows explorer (or your OS equivalent) to create a folder called libs in your Eclipse workspace.
Copy the jar file of the library you are interested into that folder.
In Eclipse right-click on your project and select Build Path | Configure Build Path
In the dialog window that opens click on the button, Add External JARs, and browse to the libds folder and select the library jar file from (2)

so you mean I can use them like all the other java libraries?
How about those with .pde files?

Usually if there's a PDE file, then it's not a library, but it's a sketch. Sketches may be using a library (or many libraries), but not the other way around.

Some libraries may have some PDE files included, but they are not the library itself, but just examples of how the library can be used in processing.

It may be helpful to think of Processing as something comprised of two pieces:

Processing PDE (just code editor)
Processing Core Library (yeah.. technically all processing is: just a java library with all the functions you love: setup() draw() rect() and so on).

PDE Environment just makes it really easy to compile code and run. (Without need to mess with big and bulky Eclipse or Netbeans). But if we boil down to basics: all your sketch is: just a java class which uses library called "processing-core.jar"

Everything dimker said is true but I would like to expand on my previous post.

If you have installed a library using the PDE then locate your Processing sketch folder and you will find a folder called libraries. Inside that folder there will be a separate folder for each contributed library installed, open the folder of the library you are interested in you will find the JAR file inside a folder called library. A JAR file is the file with a .jar extension.
