Hi:
I'm displaying a message on the screen when the user does the wrong action. When the mouse is clicked, dragged or moved I'm clearing the message by loading and imaging a saved pre-message screen. Its working fine; but I think it can be done more efficiently in a way I don't have to save, load and image the pre message screen. Maybe if the screen can be saved in the memory and not actually written in the hard drive?. Can it be done? Is there any other faster and more efficient way of doing this? If the image is saved as .jpg it loses quality in a slighly noticeable way when it is reloaded and dispalyed. If it is saved as .png it takes longer to save and the elapsed time is slighly noticed also.
Thanks
