How to stop receiving emails?

I haven't used this forum in about a year and all of a sudden today I started receiving emails about some new topic was started. I think this is because the users clicked "notify all the members." I do not see anything in "My Area" that allows me to turn off these emails. Any ideas? If not, is there anyway to delete this account entirely?

I noticed this recently as well, some users I had never heard of suddenly were sending me emails to see their posts. I am happy to help with posts that I am knowledgeable about and I check the forums occasionally to help but would rather not receive these kinds of notifications.

Yeah, seems to be some kind of bug/error/setting/new option in the forum. I have also received two administrator messages about a regular user post. I am assuming the whole forum received this messages and nobody wants them. Would be nice if the problem could be determined and solved.

This is awful. Where is the feature that allows people to do this? I can't find it or find reference to it in the Zoho documentation. I'm doing what I can to shut it down, but how did it happen in the first place?

Thanks, Casey. When you start a new topic, there's a checkbox at the bottom left to notify all users.

Don't forget the "if" is only users who do not want the emails. :)

I don't have that option. I'll sign up for a new account and see what I get while simultaneously writing to Zoho tech support.

OK, the option shows up after a category is selected. I've posted the complaint/problem on the main Zoho forums.

Grrrrrrrrr!! Got a post from someone in Spanish on a topic I wasn't interested in. How about having a reply button saying: "Flog offender's arse with a cow's pancreas!"

Sorry for the happenings and apologize for the inconvenience.

It happens due to our recent update. We are actively working on this case. I will come back to the workaround/update at the earliest. Keep watching this space for the status.

Hi All,

Just an update.

It happens due to select the "Notify all the members" in New Topic page. It was newly introduced feature causing this. We have rolled out a temporary fix. I will analyse this case and come up with a permanent fix at the earliest.

I would like to point out some other weird things that are happening because of the 'new features' that are apparantly being introduced:

It is not possible to reply on some threads, for example this thread. Since this is a forum, I am assuming this is not a 'feature' but a bug of some sort?
The RSS-feed is no longer being updated.
I've seen some fallout (resulting in a timeout) of the forum in the last few days.

Is anybody else experiencing these problems? And are these also the result of the recent Zoho update?
