To implement this i need the Java mail library which i downloaded from http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/
Then i copied the files to the libraries folder inside processing but there seem to be some problem. Once i compiled the program it says the libraries are missing.

Am i missing something? Isn't this the right way to do it - Copy the files into the libraries folder?

Are you sure of the location of the library? Perhaps check with the http://forum.processing.org/topic/how-to-install-a-contributed-library article.
I tried e-mail sending in the past but since it was only for one sketch, I just added the jar files in a code folder inside the sketch folder.

I tried compiling my program with the code used in  Daniel Shiffman's email example. Its not working.

I think the jars must be grouped together, because one depends on the others. I suggest to try and group the jars in the mailapi folder. If this fails, you probably need to put them in the code folder, as I did.

It worked!!!! I put everything under mailapi folder.

Keep the previous value of the signal (from the previous frame). Send a mail only when the signal changes from 0 to 1.
