Sure, just create 4 rects on the screen edges. The ones on the left or right will have a width of "borderStroke" and the ones on the top or bottom will have a height of "borderStroke".

There are other ways without using rect(), perhaps line() with a proper stroke(), or by iterating, but it would be less efficient.
Why are you opposed to use rect()? A constraint given by your teacher?
