how to integrate processing code to android program?

hi,

I am working on android graphics applications,

and recently I found processing as a great tool to build graphics,

I have made some animations in processing,

and I have my own application in android,

Now I need to integrate both

any one can help me to start up.......

I am using Eclipse IDE to develop android applications

How can I integrate the processing code in my android program....

thanks for replying,

at least in the other way how can I draw the graphics on the android surface view using processing ?

I tried to draw like

PApplet p=new PApplet();

p.background(0);

for(float i=0;i<p.height;i+=3)

{

for(float j=0;j<p.width;j+=3)

{

p.stroke(255);

p.point(j,i);

}

does it make any sense to draw on android surface??

its showing a blank screen when i wrote this code in my view...

Ben, I'm just wondering if it's worth amending the wiki to note that it is possible to incorporate code dealing with the standard Android APIs inside a Processing for Android application. While the case above illustrates this isn't true for everyone, for some "integration" will mean exactly that -- integrating Android code in a Processing for Android sketch rather than the other way around.

I'd also be curious to know the long-term plan; I suppose it might mean down the road doing exactly what's described in terms of creating a custom SurfaceView. That'd incidentally have some interesting advantages in certain desktop contexts, I'd imagine... but I absolutely understand why it wouldn't be something happening any time in the immediate future.

You cannot. Again, there's no way to do that at the moment.

as the documentation says the processing sketch is an activity for the android.....isn't it?

so can I use android intent to call this sketch that I have created in the processing to simply display the sketch?
