Maybe my code can make it clear?

Thank you, your answer was a great help to me.
I figured it out now. I can now load the point in as (x,y) coordinate and I can trace the howl list.
But I still have problems with selecting for example 5 random points of the list to make a random form. ( because the points have to be connected.) I don't know how to begin at this? Any advice?
