What about this topic, now that support for exporting applets has been dropped, and the only way to export a sketch for publishing it online is in JavaScript mode, which needs the .pde source to run!?!?
It seems to be even more impossible to hide the source code, isn't it?
Note that pseudo-hiding source code is not necessarily a matter of egoism or not wanting to share one's work.
Initially created to serve as a software sketchbook
AND TO TEACH fundamentals of computer programming...
So suppose you are a teacher and wont to give an assignment/homework to your students. It would make sense to give them a working and testable example of what you are asking them to do, right? But having the source code accessible is a little bit
tempting, to say the least...
Is there a way to hide it a little bit?
