how to copy a polygon shape

hey guys...

can i only copy rectangular shapes with the copy command?

my plan is to copy diffrent parts from images and paste them (in a new order) into a new image... has anybody an idea wo i could manage that?

Hi !

The copy method only take rectangular parts ... if you want to have some polygonal shapes you'll have to handle them by yourself ...

An idea might be to map what you want to copy as a polygon texture using UVs on its vertex and then writting this polygon to your destination buffer.

Or use a mask shape (PImage or other) and make transparent the parts not in this mask.
