Can anyone explain me how i can change the standard icon processing gives our apps.

Throw the following code into your sketch, then call "frameAndIcon("",<filename>);" in setup():

PImage fai_iconi;
PGraphics fai_icong;
String fai_filename;
void frameAndIcon(String frameText, String iconFilename) {
if ( fai_filename == null || !fai_filename.equals(iconFilename) ) {
fai_iconi = loadImage(iconFilename);
fai_icong = createGraphics(16, 16, JAVA2D);
fai_filename = iconFilename;
}
frame.setTitle( frameText );
fai_icong.beginDraw();
fai_icong.image( fai_iconi, 0, 0 );
fai_icong.endDraw();
frame.setIconImage(fai_icong.image);
}

And yes, I admit this is doing more that what you need, and not doing it well. It's some old code of mine.

Aha! So, class PGraphics has a "secret" instance of class Image stored in its field image!

And thus, method setIconImage() can finally use that!

Since it's incompatible w/ a regular PImage otherwise.

... I admit this is doing more than what you need. And not doing it well. It's some old code of mine.

I've taken the liberty to tweak it in order to appear less complicated I hope:

I wasn't aware that you could change the app icon from within the code... I always followed the Wiki's guidelines (look under Icons) of including icon resources in the sketch's folder; a 36x36 icon called icon-36.png, and corresponding ones for 48px and 72px.
