Processing Forum
I'm a noob and have found that some of the Serial comm examples I want to run will do so only on the 32 bit version.  I have the 64 bit installed on my 64 bit Windows machine.  How should I proceed? Uninstall the 64 bit and install the 32 bit? Another approach?

Thanks, Bob

Installing Processing is simply a matter of unzipping a file, it does not change the registry  or anything like that.

What I suggest is locate the folder in which you installed Processing 64 and either delete it or rename it to something different. Then download the 32 bit version and unzip it. That's it!

If you rename the folder used by each version of Processing you download you can run any version you like Windows doesn't mind.

DO NOT delete the My Documents/Processing folder this just has your sketches and will be shared by whichever version of Processing you are currently using.
Hi Quarks,

Thanks for your clear answer, it's quite helpful.
