How can i get the complete HSL spectrum with RGB value returned to the terminal?

Is there a simple way i'm not noticing? Because I'm trying to replicate the HSL spectrum with RGB values and i cant get the same range.

This is the HSL spectrum (the square 2d one on the left).

Well, the image shown by the sketch strongly looks like the Wikipedia reference you point to. What is the problem, exactly?

i want to tell the RGB value of where the mouse is pointed to

i tried to generate the code for it but if you draw the calculations for the mouse position it comes out looking like this \/

TL;DR i want to make this useing RGB color scheme, but i can only make ^
