How can I change background color with mouse click?

I'm almost done with a little project I'm working on for a class, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the background change colors with mousePressed() or mouseClicked(). I'd like to have the background color change randomly when I click. How should I go about this?

void setup() {
size(400, 400);
}
void draw() {
background(bColor);
}
void mousePressed() {
bColor = color(random(255), random(255), random(255));
}

Alternative to -> bColor = color( random(255), random(255), random(255) );

bColor = ( color ) random(0x1000000) | 0xff000000;

Hah, that's awesome, but I bet it would confuse most as to why it works

Edit: color bColor = ~0;
