Hello Processing List,

My name is Margaret Noble and I am an artist and digital arts educator. I recently won a one year fellowship to study coding and I have selected to study Processing!!!! I am pretty new to coding but very good with digital technologies. I am also pretty good with independent studies. I have ordered a ton of books on computational art as an overview and a few Processing specific books. I would really like to kick off my fellowship with a workshop to get acquainted with the basics. One week would be ideal and I could fly out to somewhere in the USA (but California would be the closest).

Would love suggestions on workshops and anything else.

Thank you!!!!!

Sincerely,

Hi Margaret,
If you can get out to Dallas in July (and survive the heat), I can arrange to have you audit a Processing course at SMU, taught by a colleague of mine. We also have a creative coding course in Edinburgh, UK at this time.

Another option perhaps would be to get a bunch of educators together in San Diego and bring someone in to run a workshop. A couple colleagues and I do this periodically.
Best,
Ira Greenberg
Hi Ira,

Thank you so much for writing! Do you know the dates of the Dallas course?
