hello everyone,

The Hemesh library is my latest discovery, and I was verrry pleased with its features! I only miss 1 primitive (if you could it like that), and that is the torus (donut/toroid). There is a torus shape in the Shapes3D library, but couldn't find the little algorithm to create it in hemesh...

hopefully someone knows how to create some donuts which can be manipulated!

Unfortunately i found no texture options in the library, any d-tour suggestions to accomplish this with the hemeshes?

you can create a torus with the HEC_UVParametric creator. you can see the origin of it here, but Frederik has since incorportated and improved it -- and i've since lost track of how he implemented his version, but here's a general "recipe" for a torus using that approach (you may have to tweak it some to match syntax of hemesh's current release)

wow, thanks! I've managed to get myself a torus thanks to his script :)
Afterwards I was wondering if it even was possible to put a texture on the hemesh - meshes, but unfortunately i couldn't find any information about that.

Someone knows a little d-tour to get textures on the meshes from hemesh? ( really great library)
