2 questions:

1- Is there a way for me to implement my own easing algorithm or effect how the Tween is calcualted.  I am trying to model some real workld motion control applications that would have parameters like acceleration rate, top speed, deceleration rate.  I know how to do all the math so that at a certain time I would properly calculate the position of the tween, but is there a way for me to do this using your library so I keep all of your other functionality?

2- Do you have any examples using your 2D Path?  Again I am trying to model a real world piece of moving scenery.  In most cases this would mean following a straight track ( or Path) or in some cases a track that would have some basic curves.  I think I can figure out how to create those paths using points or vertices, but can I then use your Tween Path to control the object moving along it?

I had been writing a class for creating physics tweens, which seems like what you'd want to do, but haven't done anything for that in months. But you can create custom tweens although I don't have examples for that. And creating 2d paths is like creating 3d paths but without the z, so you should look at

Thanks for all the updates. Sorry for taking so long to get back to it.

Looked at the examples.  The Path2D_Test is actually using all the 3d Path elements and is in fact 3d.  I was able to "flatten" it, by always setting z to zero and changing all the path3D references to path2D.  Note that when I did that the Hermite mode doesn't seem to work.

In the end, I really need to be able to define a very specifc path shape.  In fact I would really like to bring in a SVG path and follow that.  Think I have to do some more looking.

In terms of the physics/custom tween would than be done by simply extending the Tween class?  I don't need a full blown example, but it you could start me off in the right direction, I would like to give it a try.  In a lot of cases my paths will just me a line, in which case I think the Path2D stuff works great.

BTW - is the current source available somewhere.  thought maybe I could answer some of my own questions on the physics stuff my giving it a look through.

I fixed the Path2D_Test example and uploaded a new version. If you would have looked at the Path2D and Path3D javadocs you would have seen that Path3D and Path2D have the same more or less. Also you can create Path2D from an SVG path if you can get its vertices. If the SVG path has curves or beziers you can call setMode() with LINEAR, COSINE, CUBIC, or HERMITE, to make the Path2D curve and fit to the SVG path. It depends on how many vertices, curves, beziers there are and etc. I may add a SVGPath and SVGPathAnimation class soon  though; I hadn't thought  to do that before... The physics class isn't working so it'll be sometime before I add that too.
