not working in PDE: Help > Reference, Help > Find In Reference, Sketch > Show Sketch Folder

Subject says it all. When I click on any of those three menu options, nothing happens. Tried reinstalling 2.0.2 hoping that would fix it, but no luck.

Moved to general discussion.

When I click on those they work. Since these all include external windows (explorer, internet) the most likely cause for not working is that Processing doesn't have the required rights to do this. In other words, your operating system or your firewall is blocking it.

Not turning anything up. Clicked all three links in the PDE then checked all the logs in Event Viewer, nothing showing a permission or access issue. Added an exception for Processing.exe to Windows Firewall (although multiple Java's were already in the exception list), then tried the PDE again. Also added an exception in AVG, but still no luck. Nothing in the firewall history or AVGs history. ;(

Not running any other anti-virus or firewall. And only got one user account on the machine, the admin with all privs.

Got the IDE running on multiple other machines with no issues, including one that is nearly identical to this one. An earlier version of Processing was working on this machine a few months ago, and no major installs or changes since then. Definitely nothing on permissions, firewalls, access rights, etc..

Anyplace I can get more info on what the IDE thinks is happening? The only log files I see under Program Files/processing-2.0.2 or %APPDATA%/Processing are about 10 DebugModeX.log-files, which all have the same 2 or 3 xml tags in them.

Thanks for the suggestion and any help. Sorry I posted to the wrong sub-forum. I browsed "General Discussion" and "Library and Tool Development", but didn't recognize any good matches for IDE issues.

For example you could run with the debug option and then look at the launch4j log file.
