help making a circle follow a curve path

Hi everyone, i would like to make a project, but i am a total beginner, so i need some help!

I have a video in background and i need to create a circle and make it go from my left hand to my right one, as if i was juggling. Can someone help me create to the circle, and make it do the move i want it to do?
