Help! App exported doesn't work

Hello,

I'm exporting an app via processing that doesn't work in certain macs. They have the same JAVA and everything i don't understand what i'm doing wrong. Did anyone had this problem?

When I open the app it shows me this message:

"Application is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the Trash."

PS.: Searching for someone to collaborate in a small project that has processing has main tool. (www.readysetflooow.com)

Is it for a specific sketch or any one?
If it is specific, do you use something special, like libraries?

Hi,

It's a specific sketch and the problem is that it's for many different people with many different computers (old and new macs) and even software updates.

It wasn't me that write the code and I don't understand much of processing that's why i'm searching for help.

The person that is helping me with it doesn't understand what is happening either that's why we decided to came here.

Hi everyone.

I am yuki.saiura's brother and have been trying to diagnose this with her.

Here's what I've been able to track.

After exporting the app runs perfectly.

After being transferred over the internet either in a zip or a dmg file it is no longer possible to open the app.

It does not happen in all macs but here is some info on my sisters mac:

java version "1.6.0_51"

Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_51-b11-457-11M4509)

Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.51-b01-457, mixed mode)

BTW, the exported file and the file downloaded from the internet have the same md5 signature.

I have tried to send my sister a simple sketch in app form and after sending through gmail she can't open this one either.

I suspect the files only fail after being downloaded from the internet. Which makes me suspect it is being caused by some security system in the new macs.

Any ideas, maybe a bug in JAVA or the way apps are being exported by processing?
