Hey guys!

This is my first little game made in Processing, using Daniel Shiffman's PBox2D library:

HeartBreakout

I just registered at the forum, so I'm quite new here :)

Well done, although a bit slow...
And I don't see what Box2D brings here, looks like such simple collision could be done with simple math.

I think that's the point of using the library, not having to hard code the collisions with math.

And this was my first contact with PBox2D, so I actually learned a lot by doing it.

Did you use a top-down mode?
I was surprised not to see gravity, but thinking more about it, top-down would be logical.

I sincerely don't know what is top-down mode. What's it for?

I just removed the gravity and added an X and Y velocity to the "ball".

Box.velY = 100; is more fun ;)

You should implement a detection if the ball gets below the player -> game over.

Hehehe, yeah timpulver, everybody keeps saying that to me, but that's the idea, the only way to "win" (or "loose") the game is destroying the heart!
