hey, i think an easy question. how can i build a half moon. and a form like a quad but with curves. and how called this form, wich has more edges than a quad?

I would call that an half-circle (or perhaps an half-disc).
To build it, you might want to look at arc().

On the square with round edges, a simple solution that might fit your needs:

size(480,480);

strokeWeight(12);

strokeJoin(ROUND); // Round the stroke corners

rect(40, 25, 70, 70);

strokeJoin(BEVEL); // Bevel the stroke corners

rect(140, 25, 70, 70);

strokeCap(SQUARE); // Square the line endings

line(270, 25, 340, 95);

strokeCap(ROUND); // Round the line endings

line(350, 25, 420, 95);

(using the strokeJoin(ROUND))

For rounded rects, there are two under-documented forms of rect() that support passing parameters for the radii of rounded corners.

rect( 10, 10, 100, 100, 8, 8, 8, 8); // pass radius of each corner (8,8,8,8)

rect( 10, 10, 100, 100, 8, 8); // pass horizontal and vertical corner radius (8,8)

A common technique I use for thin crescent moons is to draw two circles that are offset. Draw a white circle, and then a black circle that is offset by a few pixels. This only works if you don't mind obliterating the stuff in the circle. Otherwise, use arc(), curve() or bezier().
