GWSlider G4P export problem

Dear All,

I am another newbie to Processing and I am working on a sketch which is extension of the example Flocking program by Daniel Shiffman.

The way this is setup now is that the user can choose the number of boids to be introduced into the flocking simulation by a GWSlider (Simple default slider) of G4P library. The code is working correctly in Processing in my system. But when I "Export" in processing the html generated in applet folder does not seem to have the slider.

Exported applet folder has the guicomponents.jar file. I would like to know if there are any other files i need to add to the applet folder for this slider to work. Eventually this is supposed to be working in web. So please let me know what changes can make this slider work for me.

You won't see the slider mentioned in the html as it is part of the applet. Everything your need is in the guicomponents.jar file. No one has reported a similar problem with G4P and examples of GWSlider can be seen on the web here

Are you using Processing.js? I read somewhere that it didn't like third party libraries very much.

Can you upload the sketch to open processing so we look at the code?

I have just exported the cool slider example that comes with G4P and the applet folder had the following files

core.jar
G4P_CoolSliders.jar
G4P_CoolSliders.java
G4P_CoolSliders.pde
guicomponents.jar
index.html
loading.gif

I opened the index.html file in Firefox and the applet displayed the sliders ok.

Try the same experiment on your machine and see what happens.

OK! It makes me feel really bad now... I am sorry but I had "sdr1.setVisible(false);" as soon as the slider is assigned.

I will upload the code in open processing soon and once done I will add the link here...

Thank you for pointing to export the cool slider example. Since it was working correctly, I rechecked the code and found the mistake.
