gsvideo + app export osx

Hi everyone,

has anyone had some trouble with p5 2.07b running on mountain lion and exporting something with gsvideo where the camera feed doesn't show up? I've read the forums and done the copying gstreamer from the library folder into the package conntents inside the app but still doesn't solve the issue.

That should work, maybe you are missing some files..? Take a look at the "Exporting GSVideo applications" in this post, I hope it helps.

yeah i tried that, no bueno. maybe there's a conflict with the imported gsvideo lib and the native gsvideo in p5 v2a7?

hmmm, it feels like when i app export, the computer doesn't recognize a camera input anymore. i'm using osx 10.8 and maybe the command

cam = new GSCapture(this, 640, 480);

is not recognizing the camera. i might have to call the specific camera from list. will try it out

Hi,

Try your code in Processing 1.5.1...

The simple GSVideo Capture program has successfully exported and run . dont forget to copy the GStreamer Lib folder in application's package .
