Hello,
My name is Suyog Patil,B.Tech in Electronics,VJTI,Mumbai,India.
I am thinking of improving processing video features by using opencv and implementing some new technologies like Gesture recognition ,face detection,Augmented Reality.

You should look at the javacvPro library from Xavier Hinault:

It is based on the JavaCV Java bindings for OpenCV.

Can i implement gesture recognition using JavacvPro ?I have worked on Matlab whose structure is similar to java.

I think AR toolkit,Openkinect framework can be developed further in processing using JavacvPro.

So i think I can work on this framework to develop cool applications which will have advanced features like 3D virtual plotting and sensor integration with kinect.

What do you suggest?

One thing I'd like to see with all these camera, kinect, touch, interface libraries is some translation to mouseEvents. I want to easily be able to switch between mouse scrollwheel on a PC to a pinch zoom tablet, to a expand gesture on camera/kinect without having to go nuts. :)

Would be great to have similar input controls for the various interfaces. So Processing has a mouseDragged(), mousePressed(), mouseClicked(). Something similar needs to be done with these other interfaces, so that I can assign something like fingerSwipe() to the same code as mouseDragged() and have the app behave the same way.

Have been looking at the simple-openni library for kinect stuff, but that format would work for a camera as well.

I used color recognition technique.
People liked the last part of video the most i.e Counterstrike game part.
I am looking forward to develop this technology in GSOC!!!
