Grainspace - 3D Granular Explorer

Hi everyone.
Here's a quick video of my new project, a 3D granular cluster explorer. There is some further explanation in the video description, but in a bit more detail:
It's a Processing patch that takes in a number of audio files, splits them up into individual grains, then assigns them to particles in 3D space, which become part of a particle system subject to gravity. You can fly around the grain cloud, listening to different parts of it, and the sound attenuates with distance. Some people said it reminds them of Tarik Barri's Versum, and truth be told that's what inspired me to make this, but I think the overall sound synthesis and graphics approach is different.
It's done with Beads and OpenGL. I'm not going to share the patch just yet, because I'm planning to build it up into something else for my final university project, so I think I'll just hold on to it until it's perfected, but this is a demo video.
