Kindly go through it and let me know if this is a viable option for a GSoC project. If not, it would be of great help if you could suggest to me some topics which are of immediate requirement to Processing and will make up a good project based on my Skill Set (Majorly, Java and C).

If we signed up for summer of code should we have received some sort of email or confirmation? Thank you for your help!

We are in the process of reviewing all the applications.  GSOC selections will be announced on May 27th.   If you submitted a proposal I'd be happy to confirm if it was received (you should get a confirmation from google).
