G4PTool Install Problem

I'm having problems installing G4PTool in Processing 1.5.1 and 2.0 , I'm getting the following exception.
Any help would be appreciated

You have 2 options :-

(A) For Processing V1.5.1 use G4P Tool version 1.1.1 (use V1.7.6 of the G4P library)

OR

(B) For Processing V2.0a6 use G4P Tool version 2.0.1 (use V2.0.1 of the G4P library)

The changes being made to Processing from V1.5.1 to V2.0 are huge and it is has proved impossible to create a tool that will work in both versions. Although I have not tested option B with 2.0a8 it should work

Hi Quarks,
Thanks for the reply , I've got both (A) & (B) working well.

However G4PTool 2.0.1 with Processing 2.0a8 doesn't work

I'm looking forward to working with it for the project I'm working on.
I shall be using multiple windows with Panel Meters , Thermometers etc in conjunction with an electronic controller.
Nothing like starting with an easy project !

Processing V2.0a8 is an alpha release so is in a state of flux at the moment. It does mean that are no guarentees about what libraries and tools will work from one alpha release to another.

Unless you really need to I suggest you stick with Processing 1.5.1 i.e. option A. From the description of your project it should do what you need - no problem.

I am currently working on the next version of G4P - this is a complete a major upgrade with new and improved controls, so for obvious reasons I will not be working on the G4P tool until the new library is completed.
