Unfortunately that is not possble. It was not something that I thought of including in the library but could be implemented if there was a good reason to.

The G4P library is a collection of visual controls designed to accept input from the user (keyboard or mouse or both) and then make this information available to the program.

What you are suggesting could be implemented as simple output controls (e.g. a progress bar, gauge or digital display) which accepts input from the program only. The GLabel control is also an example of this.

SInce pure output controls are easy to add to the library any suggestions for suitable controls will be taken seriously. Just a quick drawing of how the control would look and a brief description of how it works would be enough to start with.

A generic way to comply to the request is to have (if you haven't already! I admit I still have to look deeper into the GUI libraries, as I haven't real use for them so far) a kind of "icon" component, just displaying a PGraphics provided by the user.
Thus, the user can draw whatever he wants in this PGraphics and can display it in the GUI layout via this "icon" / "image" component.
Just a suggestion...

Based on PhiLho's suggestion I have created a new control which encapsulates a PGraphics object.

This sketch demonstrates the control added to a floating panel that will be available in the next version of G4P.

If you look at the source code you will see that it is fairly self explanatory. You might notice in the source code the panel class is called FPanel and the button class is FButton, this so I can keep the original components, GPanel and GButton etc alongside the new controls as I am developing them. In the next version of G4P they will become the familiar G??? class names.
