Find a specific word in a text

Hi, I am new to processing and trying to write a code that would load a text from a file and would underline the word 'yes' every time it occurs in the text.

The Cross out letters topic is, somehow, related.
I advise to explore a bit the examples coming with Processing, some loads text files.
Looking in the reference can help too, particularly the Input > Files and the Data > Composite and String functions.

Your request is a bit generic, so we don't know where you are stuck: loading, processing, displaying...

I actually need to create a button under every word "yes" and display the whole text with the buttons on the screen.

I am having trouble creating the button every time the word appears...

You should check out the Pattern class (will be in the std Java docs Overview (Java 2 Platform SE v1.4.2) ) -- this will let you efficiently find "yes" in arbitrary lines of text. Then look at the thread already mentioned.

As for buttons.... wha?
