Exporting to an Applet

When I try to export a processing code to a JAVA Applet,It shows an old version of the applet;

Running in processing (Cmd+R) is fine.

This happens even after deleting the applet directory, and restarting processing.

I can see new applet only if I change the folder name where .pde files are.

it seems that processing is maintaining cache of java archive somewhere and not refreshing it.

I'm using version 0184 on Snow Leopard

Am I doing wrong , or is it a known bug?

Well guessed, Java indeed maintains a cache of the jar files to avoid downloading them each time you run an applet.
I am not too sure how you access the cache on your system, but there are several ways in Windows:
- First, you can activate the Java console in your browser. Look at its advanced settings.
- Second, you can search global Java settings. In Windows, it is in the Control Panel.
- Third, you can run (supposing Java's bin folder is in the path) javaws -viewer to go directly to the view of the Java cache.
There, you can delete your jar to get it reloaded.

Cache options in the global java settings didn't help..

It worked when I quit all Safari processes(Cmd+Q) and restart.
