dont believe you can export 3d lines as svg, but you can use the pdf export. Take a look at the end of the pdf reference.

hmmm, I thought SVG could handle 3D. Am I mistaken and you can't have 3D in SVG or is it just the library that doesn't handle it?

I haven't used a library yet, couldn't find one that exported SVGs. But it looks like SVG doesn't do 3D anyway. I must have got confused, but I'm sure I saw lots of SVG and canvas demos that did 3D graphics.

SVG is fundamentally a 2D library. Of course, you can draw a cube in perspective, and even animate it, just like you can do that in JAVA2D, with the right algorithms...
You just have to do manually the computations what the P3D/OpenGL libraries do for you, projecting 3D coordinates on the 2D plane (until we have true holographic displays...).

not sure what you need. but the pdf export works pretty well... and you actually get the same kind of files you would with svg export. you can load them to illustrator and save as svg
