I stumbled upon processing in my search for a way to get circle packing patterns into 3ds max - I found this, it pretty much does the circle packing as I need it, so this is great so far.

Now my question is - I read about the dxf library, but I'm not quite sure if I can use it here. The help on that lib says that it can be used to export triangles and line-based 3d shapes. The circle packing, however, is done by drawing ellipses. I'm not quite sure if a ellipse qualifies as line-based, hence my question.

Any other hints on exporting from processing for use in max would of course also be appreciated. Or maybe somebody knows another way / application / max plugin or script to achieve what I want (which is: circle packing patterns in max. :))
