Hi all,

This is a pre-alpha little tool that I am building to easily create some glitch/blip sounds, mad scientist style. The code is in the making but it give some example of how to merge some controlP5 object with beads sounds.

I started with minim but it was quite slow and glitchy - I was quite surprise to test beads and observing a big enhancement on the speed and stability.

You can read more about it and test it here  http://www.ponnuki.net/2011/03/mad-scientist-noise-sampler-synth/

A little upgrade (version 0.2) on this tool ~ nothing too exciting yet but it starting to form, it's my process of learning audio programing and I'll post shortly about these tools I am building with processing and beads

check out the new version 0.2:

just release another experiment with beads audio and controlP5
you can read about it and try it out here :

Very interesting - I like the application of controlP5. .

Mo's really cool :) Thanks!

yay it's starting to make sense ;) now I would like to build some hardware around it to make it even more exciting. I am quite please with the beads library and not sure why I could make sense of it a lot more than any other audio library!

thanks for the comment!

I'm with you on that for sure - maybe Arduino would be a good platform to get some hardware control on the go. . . Or get the soldering iron out (or both :))

yep and I did already some connection between arduino and processing so it's not too far from reality ;)
