ESS: myFFT.spectrum return range value

I'm trying to figure out which is the range of value returned by the method myFFT.spectrum.
I thought they were normalized values, but when printing them I see values above 1.....
I cannot find anything in the documentation. I found the limit() method, but even passing it 0 and 1 as values, I cannot understand the printed values.
Thx in advance for your help, I can use the library but I would like to fully understand it :)
